Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and how to tell us to stop.

Last updated: 15 August 2026.

This policy explains what personal data 1D-Solutions collects when you visit 1d-solutions.com, download the 1DNest trial, contact us or buy a licence — and what you can do about it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, and to describe only what we genuinely do.

1. Who is responsible for your data

[LEGAL ENTITY NAME], trading as 1D-Solutions, based in Santiago, Chile ([REGISTERED ADDRESS]), is the data controller for this website.

For any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights described in section 10, write to info@1d-solutions.com. We answer privacy requests within 30 days.

2. The short version

  • We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how people find and use this site.
  • Neither runs until you allow it. Everything is switched off by default and only starts if you accept in the cookie banner.
  • If you decline, we still count the visit anonymously — with no cookie and no identifier that can be linked back to you.
  • We never sell your data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles beyond Google's standard conversion measurement.
  • Payments are handled entirely by PayPro Global. We never see your card details.

3. What we collect, and why

a. Website analytics — only with your consent

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read, which languages are used, how far down a page people scroll, how many trials are downloaded and how many purchases begin. This tells us what to improve. It collects:

  • pages viewed, time on page and scroll depth;
  • clicks on the trial download and the purchase buttons, including the product and price;
  • the language version of the site you are reading;
  • your device type, browser, operating system and screen size;
  • an approximate location (country and city) derived from your IP address — we never store the full IP address;
  • how you arrived (search engine, advertisement, direct link);
  • a randomly generated identifier stored in a cookie, which distinguishes your browser from another. It is not your name and we cannot use it to identify you personally.

If you do not accept analytics cookies, no cookie or identifier is created. We still receive an anonymous, unlinkable signal that a page was viewed, which lets us count traffic totals but tells us nothing about you and cannot be connected to any other visit.

b. Advertising measurement — only with your consent

We advertise on Google. If you accept marketing cookies, Google Ads records when an advertisement led to a download, a quote request or a purchase, so we know which advertisements are worth paying for. This uses a click identifier that Google adds to the link when you click one of our advertisements.

If you decline marketing cookies, this does not happen.

c. Connecting a purchase back to a visit

Our checkout is not on this website — it runs on PayPro Global's own pages. That means a purchase would otherwise be invisible to us as anything other than an anonymous sale.

So, if and only if you have accepted analytics or marketing cookies, we attach the identifiers described above to the checkout link when you click "Purchase Now". PayPro returns them to our server with the order notification, and our server records the sale against that visit in Google Analytics. No new identifier is created for this — we only reuse the ones Google's own tags already set. If you declined, nothing is attached and the purchase is simply recorded without attribution.

d. When you contact us

Our contact form asks for your name, email address, telephone number, subject and message. It is delivered to us by Web3Forms, which processes the submission and forwards it by email. We use it only to answer you, and we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to support you.

e. When you buy a licence

Purchases are processed by PayPro Global, acting as merchant of record. They collect and control your billing name, address, payment details and tax information under their own privacy policy. We never receive or store your card details. We do receive the order details needed to issue and support your licence: name, email address, country, product and order reference.

f. When you download the trial

The 1DNest trial is a standard file download. We record that a download happened, not who made it. The application itself runs on your own computer.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Everything in this table is set only after you accept the corresponding category. The one exception is your consent choice itself, which we must remember in order to honour it.

5. Your choices

When you first arrive, a banner asks which categories you allow. Everything except the strictly necessary is denied until you choose — we use Google's Consent Mode, so the tags physically cannot write a cookie or create an identifier before you agree.

To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser settings — the banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser; the site works normally without them.

6. Legal basis for processing

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on:

  • Consent — for analytics, advertising measurement and the attribution described in 3(c). You may withdraw it at any time, as described above.
  • Performance of a contract — to deliver, licence and support software you have bought.
  • Legitimate interests — to answer messages you send us, and to keep the site secure and working. We have considered your rights and do not believe these uses override them.
  • Legal obligation — where tax or accounting law requires us to keep records.

7. Who else processes your data

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers that make the site work:

ProviderWhat they doWhat they receive
Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager)Usage analytics and advertising measurementThe data in section 3(a) and 3(b), if you consented

GoDaddyWebsite hostingStandard server logs, including IP address
Google Fonts, Google Maps, jsDelivrFonts, maps and code libraries loaded by the pageYour IP address, as a technical consequence of your browser requesting the file

8. Where your data goes

We are based in Chile and our providers are largely in the United States and the European Union, so your data is transferred internationally. Analytics data is additionally stored in Google Cloud in the United States. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, our providers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved mechanism.

9. How long we keep it

  • Analytics events: 14 months in Google Analytics. A copy is retained in our own Google Cloud storage for longer-term trend analysis; it contains the same pseudonymous data and no names.
  • Contact messages: as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up.
  • Purchase and licence records: as long as the licence is valid and support may be claimed, plus any period required by tax law.
  • Your consent choice: until you clear your browser storage.

10. Your rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us to:

  • tell you what data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
  • correct it if it is wrong;
  • delete it;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • transfer it to another provider;
  • withdraw a consent you previously gave.

Write to info@1d-solutions.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting, so that we do not disclose your data to somebody else.

If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in Chile, your rights under Law 19.628 on the protection of private life apply, and you may address the relevant authority.

11. Children

1DNest is industrial software sold to businesses. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

12. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and payment data never touches our systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect precisely so that there is little to lose.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or who processes it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes affecting an existing consent will be raised again through the banner.
